  • 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra Catalytic Converter Protection Plate

 Step 1. you will need to unbolt the rear section of the Catalytic Converter Protection Plate before installation. 

Step 2. Place the Large front plate in position. 

Step 3. Grab your two Lag Bolts that are supplied with three washers, lock washer and nut.

Step 4. Stack two supplied washers in between the frame and the Plate as a spacer. 

Step 5. Place Lag bolts threw square peg holes on Plate and fasten with supplied washer, lock nut, and nut. But do not tighten.

The next steps #6 & #7 only apply to 4” and up lifted Tundra's. If you have a lifted Tundra this next step is important before any drilling of your aftermarket cross member on your lift kit.

Step 6. Clamp Plate into position and drill one hole, then fasten with supplied washer and nut.

Step 7. Repeat Step 6 till all are fasten

Step 8. Tighten all hardware on front plate but not overnight. 

Step 9. Place rear Catalytic Converters Protector in position and fasten with supplied hardware but keep lose.

Step 10. Remove plastic frame plug near the outter Rear Catalytic Converter. 

Step 11. Place supplied rivenuted long oval-shaped hardware in frame hole and fasten outter Catalytic Converter. 

Step 12. Tighten all hardware but not over tight.
